How to Use
Input Section:
- Export the .xls file from myTimetable and excel of recorded dates and student IDs from class attendance form (Remember to do this in class!).
- Step 1: Paste the student IDs from the .xls exported from myTimetable into Master List column.
- Step 2: Enter recorded dates from the attendance form to Dates column (no edits needed).
- Step 3: Enter recorded student emails from attendance form into Emails column.
- Value for Y: Enter the minutes value for a present student.
Click Parse to process the data.
Output Section:
The output panel on the right will display 5 columns (one per day) with:
- The master list of student IDs.
- A code column (Y if present, N if absent).
- A minutes column (with the entered minutes if present, or 0).
You can copy the data from the output columns into .xls file, and import back into myTimetable to update attendance.
Use Clear All to reset everything or Clear Parse to clear just the outputs.
